I am a settler of on the land and waters of the Blackfoot, Nêhiyaw, Stoney, Nitistapi, Metis, and the Tsuut’ina Nation (Edmonton). I often travel to places where I am a guest that have been maintained by Indigenous stewards and knowledge keepers. My goal is to be a student and learn about the complex history of Indigenous and minority communities in each place that I get to explore. I hope this understanding allows me to be respectful to the land, the people, their way of life, and help share stories that are often overlooked.

I come from Punjab, 'Land of Five Rivers,' it is a place of resilience, community, heritage, my spiritual homeland, and I carry its spirit with me wherever I go. As a Sikh, I have a responsibility to the land, the creatures, and humanity as a whole.

Here with the Creator's Grace for whom I am nothing without.
